“ Light is not a method, it swells within us... ”

In my art, I aspire to depict the unstoppable inner motion of space and color. Mundane objects such as a glass placed at a table, a chair bathed in daylight, or an oil-lamp casting its modest glow in a quiet interior reveal to me the complexity of the nature of perception and the energy that belies the surface.

Texture is the manifestation of the evolution of the creative process and is as important to me as color and shape. My goal is to create artwork that unfolds over time revealing new layers of understanding each time one looks at it. In this way the perception of the observer becomes a part of the artistic process.

I believe viewing art is a very intimate experience.  I want my work to create not only visual but tactile sensation as well. In my work the depicted objects and intellectual constructions play a role as a bridge to the deeper emotional levels of human consciousness.

MY goal is to intensify the vibrations of my paintings and maintain the overall contrast that is evident in surrounding us reality. Being primarily a painter I also like to explore different techniques and my black and white scratches and etchings are a very important part of my creative process. Regardless of the technique and source of inspiration all my artwork results from a long, intuitively emotional process of discovery.
